Data collection campaign for the purpose of creating a catalogue of language resources and tools

For the purpose of creating a catalogue of language resources and tools that will be included in HR-CLARIN repository, the consorcium has launched a (meta)data collection campaign on language resources and tools created within Croatian scientific community.

All those who are interested in including their resources in the HR-CLARIN repository are kindly asked to fill out the survey form available on this link.

By including your resources in the repository, it immediately becomes available throughout the CLARIN research network which significantly increases the researchers' visibility within global scientific community and opens numerous opportunities for cooperation and networking.

CLARC 2023: Language and Language Data

The Center for Language Research of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Rijeka, Croatia, in collaboration with research infrastructures HR-CLARIN and DARIAH-HR, organizes the international scientific conference CLARC 2023 entitled “Language and Language Data”. In Rijeka, from 27th to 30th Semtember, the participants will present their scientific papers and organize panel discussions that address the empirical, theoretical, and/or methodological aspects of research covering wide range of topics, from computational linguistics, natural language processing, ML and AI, role of language data in theoretical and applied linguistics, legal and economical aspects of language data usage, to language in turism, medicine and public health. The National Coordinator of HR-CLARIN-a, prof. Marko Tadić, will give one of the plenary talks.

CLARIN ERIC Annual Conference 2022

CLARIN Annual Conference was held in Prague, Czechia from October 10, 2022 until October 12, 2022. CLARIN2022 is organised for the wider humanities and social sciences communities in order to exchange ideas and experiences within the CLARIN infrastructure. This includes the design, construction and operation of the CLARIN infrastructure, the data, tools and services that it contains or for which there is a need, its actual use by researchers, its relation to other infrastructures and projects, and the CLARIN Knowledge Infrastructure.
