CorpLingCz to CROATINA webinar about the GramatiKat tool
CLARIN's K-center for the Croatian Language CROATINA, in collaboration with the CorpLingCz (Czech CLARIN Knowledge Centre for Corpus Linguistics) is organizing a webinar on the GramatiKat tool - an online application for supporting lexicographic and grammatical work on morphologically rich languages using grammatical profiles and lemma frequency distribution.
GramatiKat provides lexicographers with a precise and efficient method for investigating morphological behavior in the lexicon. The functionality of the tool will be presented on real examples, showing both regular and anomalous grammatical profiles and discussing how they can influence dictionary writing, editing, and revision.
The webinar will be held by Dominika Kováříková, and is intended for everyone interested in the intersection of corpus linguistics, grammar, and lexicography. We especially encourage graduate and doctoral students to register for the seminar, as the topic could be useful for them in conducting their own research.
